My Bio

I am a memoirist. I write about food (mostly plantain), twinship, intercultural and interracial relationships and motherhood. I currently teach writing and food memoir at Otis College of Art & Design. I was a 2022 - 2023 Legacy Network Advisee for the James Beard Foundation and a 2023 Winner of an IACP Food Writing Award.
